Pilates Reformer Training

Pilates is a method of body conditioning created to address total fitness by using stretching and strengthening exercises.  It is designed to tone muscles and improve posture, flexibility and balance.

Private Pilates Reformer sessions  at Duke Center for Living at Fearrington are designed to help increase flexibility, build strength during core stabilization, improve agility, and help with economy of motion. It is a great option for athletes, rehab or general fitness. Individuals wishing to improve their Pilates techniques will also benefit from these sessions.

Private training sessions are available in 30 minute or 60 minute formats.  In addition to private sessions, we also offer hour long Duet Training, Pilates training for two.


Kathleen Lezama

Kathleen Lezama is a certified Pilates teacher with the Pilates Method Alliance.  She is an ACE certified personal training/group fitness instructor with over 17 years experience in the fitness industry.

Susan Wartell is a certified Pilates teacher with the Physical Mind Institute and North Carolina Pilates. She is an ACE and AFAA certified group fitness instructor and an AFAA certified personal trainer with over 40 years experience in the fitness industry.
